O-RINGS
"O" ring - this is a one piece ruber ring.
Rubber rings are mainly used as fixed, static seals in liquid and gaseous media.
In certain cases, it is possible to use sealing rings as dynamic seals for reciprocating, rotational and oscillatory movements.
To provide a wider range of applications for O-rings, O-rings are made from a variety of materials.
- 72 NBR 872 (SIMRIT) standard material for most applications (mineral oils, static pressures up to 160 bar).
- 88 NBR 156 (SIMRIT) same application as 872, but suitable for higher pressures (can withstand pressures up to 1000 bar if properly installed).
- 80 FKM 610 (SIMRIT) for chemically aggressive media and high temperatures.
- 70 EPDM 281 (SIMRIT) for hydraulic fluids based on glycol, brake fluid, hot water.

In our case, rubber "O" rings are used to seal flange connections, as well as connections of the DKOL, DKOS and DK ORFS types.
